This policy describes Tessloft 1.0.1, a personal pattern-print studio, and its companion website. It explains local drafts, saved prints, your choices and optional image exports.

Your current motif reference, repeat density, spacing, rotation, mirror choice, row stagger and paper color are stored in the app’s private local files. They allow you to return to the pattern you were making.

Saving a print creates a separate local edition with its title, creation time and pattern settings. Opening an edition as a draft does not change the saved edition. You can change its title or remove it from the print rack.

Notes you attach to saved editions remain in local app records. A PNG export contains the rendered pattern, not the edition’s private note. Review any title you use as an exported filename before sharing the file.

Kept motif references and the reduced-motion preference are stored locally. Marking a motif does not contact another person, order materials or create an online profile.

The Android app has no sign-in or server account. Its artwork and core tools are bundled for use without a connection. It requests no Internet permission and does not transmit your patterns, notes or saved-print records.

Tessloft does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or broad file access. It does not import photos. Exporting uses Android’s document picker so you choose a specific destination.

Exporting renders a square PNG from the pattern settings you choose. A temporary private snapshot supports the export while you select a destination. It is removed after the export completes or is cancelled. Exported copies remain where you save them.

Your keyboard, document provider and any cloud-backed folder you choose can handle information under their own settings and privacy terms. Tessloft does not choose a cloud provider or send an exported image to another person automatically. Text you deliberately select and copy can also enter Android’s clipboard under your device settings. If you choose a support link in Settings, your selected email, phone or browser app opens; Tessloft does not send a message or place a call for you.

Drafts, editions, kept motifs and preferences remain until you change or remove them, clear local app data, clear Android app storage or uninstall. Undo and Redo are a short session history and are not a separate backup of your work.

You can delete an edition after confirmation. Clear local data removes the app’s local drafts, editions, notes, kept motifs, preferences and any private recovery record. Files you already exported are not removed by these controls.

Atomic file writes help reduce interrupted-write damage. If a record cannot be read, the app preserves an unreadable copy in its private storage where possible before opening a fresh workspace. This is not a guarantee of data recovery.

Automatic Android backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for Tessloft. The app has no account synchronization. PNG exports are images of your patterns and do not restore editable settings or private notes.

The Android build contains no advertising, analytics or remote crash-reporting SDK and does not use an advertising identifier. It does not include purchases or payment processing.

The companion website is a static landing page and this policy. Its small pattern demo runs only in the page and does not save your choices. The supplied files contain no advertising or tracking scripts. When hosted, the host may process request metadata needed to deliver and secure the pages.

Android’s private app storage separates ordinary app records from other apps. Tessloft does not add encryption for your notes or patterns. Device access controls, keyboards and files you export remain under the controls of the devices and services you choose.

This policy was updated on 23 September 2026 for Tessloft 1.0.1 to add the app-specific contact and website details. Changes to app storage, exports or future website hosting may require another update.
